Sewing Group/Club

Hello

I am looking to start a sewing group, preferrably with experienced sewers, to make home dec items such as pillows, etc. on an informal basis, once a week on the weekend. We can rotate between houses. Please have some experience and a sewing machine. And yes there will be cupcakes if we meet at my house! :) Send me a message if you are interested.

Sometimes I will sew.

Can learn through a book or a blog.

Here with several friends and I would like to sew.

Japanese books, but it has a lot of books related to

sewing.

If you like, we may be able to borrow.

Anyone here willing to teach? I have a 13 yr old daughter, and myself who are eager to learn. My mom has always sewn my clothes, unfortunately I didn't make the most of her experience and now .... I want to learn and she's far faaaaar away :(

I am thinking about starting a quilt, or at least a wall hanging. Got some fabric but need some more. Would love to learn embroidery!
