Customs Duty in India

Do you anyone know how much I have to pay customs duty if I take a 32” Sony LCD TV

the best option is to take it as you travel u do not have a free allowace for cargo

so they are bound to charge u

try these agencies if u wanna pay something less

by cargo honestly not worth it

there people are rip offs :)

The law is that any electronic items valuable more than RS 25000 is taxable. In chennai airport the authorities are reasonable. In other airports the will try to take money from you. Better purchase it earlier and tell them it is used item.

I paid 2000 Rs 2years ago for a 32" LCD tv. Now may be you can go without any duty
