Is anyone else finding it difficult to get a PO Box???

I have been trying for months now to get a po box but every time i walk into a branch or call a branch or head office, i am always told that there are none available. i was told to call back 1 march as the renewal fees were due 28feb and apparently every single person who owns a po box in doha has renewed (which i find a little hard to believe). I get the feeling that they are just being lazy and don't want to do the paperwork. All i want is a po box because i'm having to send my mail to a friend in the uk at the moment and collect it from her when i visit. does anyone have any suggestions???? thanks :-)

It took us AGES to get our own P.O Box, after being told to come back in a week, a month, 2 months! Persistence paid off in the end!

Everyone did have till 01 March to renew their P.O Boxes, I would give them another week or so & then try again?

Failing that, you can always use a friends PO Box, or most people use their employers Po Box for personal mail with no problems.

its been this way for years.

It's not because they are lazy, but simply due to supply and demand. There are simply not near enough post office boxes in this country.
