the book club here says i wont get membership until i get 25 points.. n since i've been waiting for qtel to fix my internet connection since 2 months,, i dont know when will i make so may points!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL
anyways, if i could find a library where i could BORROW books n return it in 2 weeks times, it would be gr8 :)

You will get Englis & Arabic books from Qatar National Library, Near Darul Kutub (Library) R/a. You have to caution deposit Qr100/- and u will get 2 books at a time by free of charge. The lib. evening time is 4 pm to 7 pm. When u closed the account u will get back the 100/-. I happy to hear, now a days also youngsters are reading books.

The 'ONLY' public library in Doha is not that great according to some people I know who went there. Most books are in Arabic and they have poor facilities and unfriendly staff.

I hope to see a better library in the future. I still think books are the best even if there's internet.
