This is a very important matter please if you know the exactly then answer.I don’t want to land in trouble.
The situation is
I landed in Qatar on 1 – Jan – 2007
On a business visit visa.
I went to the same company and I joined them the Next day.
The tried to arrange company Visa but failed then at last the managed to arrange a HOUSE DRIVER VISA of the same Sponsor.
Now I am working in the same sponsor company but on a house driver visa.
Not there is some family problem
I want to go cancel my visa
My Visa Expires in March
And I gave intention letter to my company that I want to go home as there is some family problem in my family.
Now my company manager is telling not to go.He is angry on my decision.
I want to approach labor court for the exit permit.
If I go to labor court will it be problem to me as I am under house driver and I was working in COMPANY. But the sponsor is same.
Tell me what to do please
Brother, you dont have much time to think.
First thing in the morning on Sunday visit the Labour dept. As long as you have a valid visa, you are in no trouble for the simple reason that the visa belongs to the same company you worked for. If you have any contract stating your actual position in the company, which I believe is not a driver, don't show that to the Labour dept.
All you can tell them is you've been working as a driver for this company and now you want to go home and they are denying your exit permit.
If you create complications for yourself by admitting that the company cheated you. Then you might need to work it out in the labour court against your company.
The best is to approach the labour dept and ask them for an exit which your company is not ready to give.
You can have a second opinion too from family or friends if any.

You can approach labour department for your exit because you already been completed 2 years. As per the new labour law a person under the qatari sponsor he can work his company too. First convince your manager once again if not go to the labour court.
the best way you will do is to go to labour department,you have the right to go for vacation espacially that your already more than 2 yrs.first you should have not ask for cancelation just ask for vacation and thats it dont come back.
