My family is travelling to India today on emergency purpose. They are holding resident permit under my sponsorship. Does they require exit permit to go out of Qatar. Thanks in advance.

Ur wife wouldn't require an EXIT permit, but if u have a son who's above 18 in your sponsorship, he will require an exit permit signed by you, but that too ONLY if you are NOT traveling with them.

Yes, they do need it. I think you can do it at the airport passport dept, why do not you give them a call to inquire?
No Exit permit required for family members under your sponsorship. Just make sure that there Resident permits are valid.
