I am a nurse in Saudi with an iqama (saudi resident permit) is it the same as a GCC resident visa?

I am a nurse in saudi aramco, i will be going home to Philippines by July for my first vacation leave but I wanted to visit my aunt in Doha for 12 days before going home to Gen. Santos-Philippines. Do you know how to apply for a visit visa or tourist visa for Qatar here in KSA?
I am confuse regarding the GCC resident visa requirement, is it the same as an Iqama (saudi Resident permit)?
Thank You
Thank You for taking your time to answer my inquiry. I surf the net and found travel agency that process tourist visa in partnership with hotels.
Can you tell me about this travel agency if it is a good idea or comment about their services?
1) Tourist Travel Bureau (travel agent )
a) New Capital Doha
b) Qatar International Hotel
2) Regency Travel & Tourist
I am planning to book my ticket from Dammam Saudi Arabia to Doha and a hotel for 2 days in Doha then stay with my auntie for 10 days then fly to Manila.
Will it be cheaper to have the travel agency book the whole trip including the flight to Philippines?
Anne
No. You must apply for a visa to enter Qatar
No its not the same. You have to obtained a visit visa, before there was a Qatar Airways visa which is good for few days but i dont know if they stopped issuing such visa.
You can check thru www.gov.qa for any other information about the visit visa and how to obtain, or you can also have an option to apply thru hotels.
gudlak!
