about the visit visa iwould like to know is it possilbe to bring my wife under my spnosrship for six months.i have attested marriage cerificate copy(orginal in india) and passport copy of both.but the problem is in my contract my proffession is cable tech. and my salary is 500 in the contract.but my spnsor can issue a salary certicate of qr.5000.00 is it ok ? what are the other documents i need ?i can go directly to the immigration office or can i approch any agencies for this ?suppose i approch any agency how much is the cost and which are the agecies..please help me....
think first before making any decision, 500 riyals is not enough to support a family here in qatar even if just a visit visa. consider your accomodation, food, transport and also the visa payment for the extension. how about the airfare once the the visit visa expired.what will happen next. think first.
by the way it is QR200 per month and you don't need any agency, you can go to any of the immigration offices, they have typist there as well, you need them for the application form.
it will take 2 to 3 days, keep the receipt that they will give you, as you can use this to check the approval online.... www.moi.gov.qa, sometimes it is approved after one day, but the usual is 2 to 3 days.
you only need the salary cert/no objection letter from your company and the passport copy of your wife, bring your marriage certificate just in case they ask. for visit visa, salary is not required to be at least 7000 but it should be at least 3500. You can apply for 6 mos immediately or just one month then you can just renew it monthly, max stay is 6 mos from date of arrival.

Biju abraham your wrong , Even visit visa required Labor contract attested by labor department ,
by visiting visa you can bring your wife, no need to attached Labour contract, only a letter from your company is enough.
the government is asking now for a 7000.00 BASIC salary in order to provide you with sponsorship rights. So your wife can come to visit you as family visit , and you have to renew her visa every 3 months I think. She can't stay longer than 6 months without exiting the country though. Then, another visit visa has to be issued. Hope it helps
