How you will go there, travelling alone or package?
You can always go through travel agency. They will guide you to attractive places.
If alone, then you need a tourist guide over there.
You can do most hotel & car rental booking through internet.
Once reach there you need to have a map and don't shy to ask if you're lost. Malaysians are very friendly and they will guide you as much as they can..
