Suggesion for Doctor/clinic for Gout Treatment

Usually if i get an acute attack of gout i will go to the doctor and get an anti inflammatory injection. this is the best cure and u will be right as rain in 2 days normally. after it has subsided then take allopurinol tablets as normal

Thanks for you valuable suggestion for diet tips and medication .well During acute gout attack our doctor has given allpurinol tablet which should not be taken until gout atack completly gone .Othe doctor on shift advise me to stop and given 100 mg sodium diclofenac twice a day . After almost month still I am having little pain in right toes wiht still inflamed toe but I am manage to walk and work with pain.

The reason behind this post to know any perticular doctor or clinic which has good diagnostic feature and experience to know what exact condition of toe ,any permanant damage to it or any bacterial infection.

Hi, You need to look at your diet and lifestyle, if you are overweight you should try to get it under control, alcohol is a trigger, certain foods, dehydration also.

You can get allopurinol tablets also called zyloric which you take once a day for always, these keep your uric acid blood levels under control but even then you can still get an attack. An acute attack can be treated with an anti inflammatory injection usually or anti inflammatory tablets.

Once you have it, you will probably have recurrences im afraid but with a proper diet and healthy lifestyle you can keep it well under control and will not see too many attacks hopefully.
