Visa clarification and Job contract
Hello to all,
I wish to know the below 2 answers to my questions for clarification to take up an assignment.
I had recently been employed by one Qatar company and they had issued the visa and job contract in which I have the question to you.
1) In Visa copy Visa type is written as WORK VISA One visit and Purpose of Visa is Visit and Duration of Residence is 5 years and Profession as Mechanical Engineer. This can be treated as a Work visa which can later be useful for taking Residence permit?
2) Job contract received and in that I had signed the Second Party -Worker duly signed and sent to the employer and I am yet to take up the assignment but my question is prior to joining I need to get the copy of the First party duly signed also or it is not required and on time of joining it would be given?
Please clarify the above 2 questions asap. I would be obliged if any one knows about this can reply immediately.
Thanks and a Good day!!.
Nothing wrong with your visa or job contract. Now Qatar is not issuing Resident Permit to any one all the new visas are WORK VISIT for 5 years. you can renew it after 5 years also. You can ask the first Party also sign and send the contract (By scanned copy), but not necessary as soon as you reach here they will sign it. otherwise the contract is null and void.
That’s correct, Residence permit is issued based on your work permit, i.e. Work visa. As for the job contract, don’t worry, you will get the duly signed copy once you are here. But anyway, try to discuss every single detail and get it written prior to accepting anything.. I am not sure what company you are joining, but most of the companies here promises a lot, and then sometimes it’s hard to make them following their promises...
i can answer the first one
All visas that come here for job are written as WORK VISIT.duration 5 years. Once you come here, you will have some medical tests and finger print process and then your visa will be added to your passport. then you wil get an ID card. So dont worry about wats written on visa.
