Bal Thackeray, who heads the radical Shiv Sena party, said the Australians will be barred from playing in Maharashtra, of which Mumbai is the state capital.

“We will not allow kangaroo cricketers to play in Mumbai and Maharashtra, till the attacks on Indians are stopped,.” the ageing Thackeray wrote in the Shiv Sena mouthpiece ‘Saamna.’

“Our boys are being stabbed, burnt and shot at in that country and still our cricketers have no qualms in playing with them. Do they have any national pride?.”

Balthackerey or Bal les thackrey, or his grand dad, who ever it is,.. any move against the country's ineterst should be shed and they should be put behind the bars.

Does he own this country??, idiot.

Coming to the Aussies issue- I honestly think the authorities should have taken it much more seriously. Appreciate the travel ban, they should have banned the students movement untill further notice. Australians would come and lick their shoe..Its few million dollar business to them.

I can understand what Bal Thackeray is doing...for his own party

His party Shiv Sena has been split into two....and the popularity is at its lowest....after the Sachin fiasco even the Maharashtrians are not happy with him.

The biggest grudge that I carry about him and his party are although they talk about Shivaji ....the 300 odd Forts that Shjivaji held are under complete neglect and 5 to 10 are under occupation by anti-social elements!!!...Not even one fort has been repaired or touched up. And on top of that they want to build a huge statue of Shivaji near the harbour....

What can you expect about a party devised on the lines of Nazi SS....divide and rule....threaten or beat up your opposition....etc.

They have done nothing much for the language of Marathi, nothing much for the locals, nothing much for Sanskrit which both Shivaji and Sambhaji were well conversant of...nothing much for the Local Cricketers...(Gavaskar could not even get a ground to start a Cricket Academy!!)

Not one IT company has come in Maharashtra....because of these guys...all have gone to Karnataka, Andhra, & even to Noida, UP.

And the whole world is aware of the Enron fiasco which Shiv Sena opposed and later went on to allow (obviously some big money involved...28 million dollars....and a then 35yr old CEO called Rebecca Mark)....after which the State Electricity Board realised they will never be able to raise the amount to pay Enron for its Electricity charges...thus Enron project was cancelled...bringing a lot of discredit to India.....Shiv Sena & BT had literally sold Maharashtra State and in a way also India!!!

Since that day he doesn't hold my respect.

Well said Mr.Jack...I m a MUMBAYITE but not A maharashtrian and just hate all policies of SHIVSENA and MNS..SS is well aware that there r loopholes among their party inside so they always come out with NONSENSE agendas n RIDICOLOUS comments..Their importance in MUMBAI have got diminished in last few years and the recent election polls r a big slap on their face..

It would be better not to talk abt MNS coz the more i will talk abt them more abusive i will become in my way of expression..hahhahaa...its another B******T party...

Coming to the recent attacks on INDIANS in AUSTRAILIA, is really not acceptable..I really wish that both the countries shld resovle this matter as soon as possible..

And puuuhhllzzzzz, i really wish one more thing from all political parties to keep away any sport activities away from RACIAL DISCRIMINATION..

Bal Thackeray and his bunch of goons should be flushed down the toilet..they will flourish down there as it is their natural habitat..

I do think that Indian government should take some strong stand against this violence against Indians in Australia. As for Bala saheb, with Thackeray's history, I have just learnt to dismiss all his comments.

It's not fair to say that indian team should not play cricket with kangaroo in mumbai .But one thing we should remember that kangaroo r been targeting indians.Thats our people we should support them.Instead of that we r critising shivesena. Is it fair i dont think so.
