Mayweather Jr., good for you!!

After Pacquiao has acceeded to Mayweather's whims he still doesn't want to fight! Now instead, he has put his own business. Need we say more?

30 days, 24 days, 14 days...does it really matter? they're going to take a blood test right after the fight at the dressing room anyway as they always do.

Ricky Hatton was a good fighter but never a great fighter, he always fought with heart but some times without thinking enough.

I must really ask what my coconut is?

Please use your mind when posting on public forums, Try to use evidence or a well reasoned argument.

The alternative is a public slanging match and I really did feel that I asked serious questions about Paquiao and his mental state that he seriously believes that a small blood sample will weaken him 14 days before a fight.

The only thing I have ever said is this-

If he has nothing to hide then he has nothing to fear.

By nomad_08• 9 Jan 2010 19:53

whyteknight - the fight is off because Floyd is scared of Manny, so yes there's no more blood tests and therefore no evidence...

By anonymous• 9 Jan 2010 18:26

kiss the floor! You can't reason with a frustrated guy! So let Floyd and Ny, enjoy their victories (?). Happy now? Ny?

Use your coconut, you are asking a question only the person and persons close to him can answer! You want us to answer your question categorically, use your coconut, man!

But nomad there never will be any evidence either way now because Manny will not be tested.

Sorry Ive got to go now and get on with my life. You guys just carry on believing what you want but really you know I am right and Paquiao is probably using performance enhancing drugs and stops taking them at the appropriate time so they don't show up post fight.

Not all athletes cheat eg Steve Redgrave, Johnny Wilkinson try to remember that really you only cheat your self.

By anonymous• 9 Jan 2010 11:57

demanding random drug test which is not neccesarily in professional boxing policy is an excuse to exit the fight of a chicken mayweather,,,,

NY, yeah you're right... you're not a doctor..

think of it as a psychological issue, he believes he will weaken... so he might.

By anonymous• 9 Jan 2010 11:51

Pacquiao has stated on a number of occasions that taking the blood will weaken him!

I am not a doctor but this is the poorest excuse ever.

The evidence points to him hiding some thing.

I can understand the 2 oclock argument but this would never happen in reality as they have to give 12 hours notice so the sports person can tell them of their whereabouts.

By anonymous• 9 Jan 2010 11:49
anonymous

ny, I think you cannot be successful without drugs. The levels of performance are beyond the capabilities of a "normal" human. It's just a matter of how good or clever your medical advisor is. That's all. Some get caught, and some don't.

By anonymous• 9 Jan 2010 11:49

Arum two days earlier, when he said Mayweather turned down a mediation deal setting the blood test at 24 days before the bout.

Arum said he relayed the 14-day proposal to Pacquiao's camp in the Philippines and was turned down.

paquaio is willing to undergo blood drug test 24 days before the fight...but the chicken demanding 14 days before the fight....

ny... should you put yourself in pacquiao shoes and have some sort of boundaries and belief before you go to any fight... you should continue that trend right?...you see how pacman is honest..he admitted that it somehow makes him weak maybe mayweather should respect that... if mayweaher camp is really into fighting they can add to the condition that after the match pacman goes for drug test and if found positive they may declare mayweather as the official winner... but if its negative mayweather should proceed into talk show business and giva all the fight earned money(or whatever they call it) to pacman... what do you think?

By nomad_08• 9 Jan 2010 11:47
nomad_08

but they are fighting in nevada FFS!

...are you questioning the integrity of nevada athletic commission just because manny pacquiao have not been tested negative for drug use?

manny pacquiao opposed to the 'random' blood test because this can mean that they can knock on his door at 2am on the eve of his fight to take blood from him.

heck if they do that to me and im working the next morning ill take a sick leave!

By anonymous• 9 Jan 2010 11:46

I have no argument with your statement that others are drug cheats BUT answer the question-

Why will he not give a small sample?

By anonymous• 9 Jan 2010 11:45

The "heroes" in the US and elsewhere are also drug cheats: Marion Jones, Lance Armstrong, ...........

By anonymous• 9 Jan 2010 11:42

I understand that coming from the Philippines you do not have many national heroes but you must look beyond the hype and answer the question, Why will he not give a very small blood sample?

Simple question.

Nevada athletic commission has a set of rules but any standards can always be better.

Do you go by the Nevada rules or do you aim for the Gold standard?

I feel that if he has nothing to hide then take the tests.

By nomad_08• 9 Jan 2010 11:38
nomad_08

ny- your logic is that all athletes who performs extraordinarily are drug users...so why question manny pacquiao only?

By anonymous• 9 Jan 2010 11:38

ny

you can't call mayweather a gay coward since you did not meet him..

since i used to a be a nieghbor of paquaio in GENERAL SANTOS you dont have the right to call him a drug cheat..

By nomad_08• 9 Jan 2010 11:36
nomad_08

"pacquiao is not a drug cheat...they take blood test of boxers after every fight in nevada...pacquiao have fought there a number of times already and was always tested negative for drug use...so there..."

By anonymous• 9 Jan 2010 11:34
anonymous

nomad_08 as you have seen from my previous posts I have tried to use logic in my argument that Pacqiuae is probably hiding some thing, and I have laid out my argument for you.

Please can you now do the same for me to show the level of your argument instead of a flat `is not a drug cheat`.

Evidence is always worth a go if all else fails.

By nomad_08• 9 Jan 2010 11:33

the nevada athletic commission is not under the IOC.

the nevada athletic commission have their own rules of which all the boxers fighting there abides by.

these rules have been in place for 4 decades now.

By nomad_08• 9 Jan 2010 11:29

ny - pacquiao is not a drug cheat.

By anonymous• 9 Jan 2010 11:29

IOC rules do apply to professionals eg Tennis, Basketball, Sprinters, In fact the vast majority of Olympic sports people are now professional to some extent and the rules laid down by the IOC are followed by most sports governing bodies in regard to drug testing.

There have been a number of cases of professional football players being banned for not being available for testing and as a semi professional sports player in my youth I have been tested out of season.

As I have never met or spoken to Mr Mayweather how would I know if he Gay or a coward, So it really would be impossible for me to answer your question.

I really am not sure what Mr Mayweathers sexual orientation has to do with his abilities as a boxer, do you think that this is an appropriate thing to judge a person on?

Are you a small minded bigot who believes that if you happen to be attracted to persons of the same gender then you are some how less of a person?

As for him being a coward i would find this hard to believe any one who enters a boxing ring is a coward, wouldn't you?

So once again is Pacqiuae a drugs cheat in your opinion or just a little mad for thinking that giving a sample may make him weak?

By nomad_08• 9 Jan 2010 11:21

Please do answer my question, Is Pacqiuao a drugs cheat?

Most drugs are not used right up to the fight as the benefits are in the training/ build up.

I have read a number of articles on Paqiuao and his early trainers all said they saw nothing great in him, so what conclusion do you draw-a He was a late developer who feels weak after a blood test!!!

or b He is a drug cheat.

I am not a Mayweather fan but I find it pathetic when a professional athelete will not submit to testing as per the IOC rules for out of season training.

The old saying of `If you have nothing to hide then you have nothing to worry about`, applies here.

ny before i will answer your question i will ask you first..is it true that mayweather is a coward gay?

please before you post here try to research about the demand of mayweather for a random drug test..

By anonymous• 9 Jan 2010 10:46

So being honest does Pacqiuao really think giving a small blood sample will really weaken him or is he a drugs cheat?

mayweather is like a dog barking too much but can't fight.....

By nomad_08• 9 Jan 2010 10:40

its not about complying with "international anti doping regulations"...its about complying with mayweather's demand...

By anonymous• 9 Jan 2010 10:28

In what world does giving a blood sample make you weak! Bolt the fastest man on Earth seems to manage without the tea spoon of blood that they take for testing.

Is it me or is it very suspicious that a professional athelete will not comply with international anti doping regulations?

Got to say guys Pacqiuao is either a drugs cheat or is bordering on mental for refusing the fight because the lack of blood will make him weak, HA HA.

By nomad_08• 9 Jan 2010 10:21

mayweather's camp is making a last ditch effort to salvage the fight.

the fight's not dead yet guys!

By algadomain• 9 Jan 2010 10:12

you see.. pacqiuao is really a fighter.. he is now even trying to take any fight replacing mayweather wihtout any hesitation. so by now you know who;s the real coward... mayweather camp should change their business from boxing to talk show...

By tatess• 9 Jan 2010 10:00

will do all kind of pripaganda's,publicities and tricks to put Pacquiao down but that won't happen.

bet he will be like the others who'll end up kissing the floor.

By qatarexplorer• 9 Jan 2010 09:58

but in some way mayweather is more to keep his record than the price of money. but eventhough. he is still a coward for me. not like our manny, he is fighting for our nation, for our country.

hohumm...He was asked for a rematch with De la Hoya but he backed out. He never fought Cotto because HE WAS SO AFRAID OF HIM!!!!

Manny doping? It's an insult to the Mexicans, British, and Puerto Ricans. And they never complained when Pacquaio beat their heroes. Now, you take Mayweather's word for it? What's his credibility? A father who was convicted of a drug felony and he himself into some lowly acts. If he is man enough there will be no ifs or buts. Just go up the ring and fight. It will be the biggest prize in boxing history but he's got NOTHING/NADA/ZILCH/MAFI for Pacquiao! Go ahead Jr baby gimme some of that stuff yar cookin...lol!

pacquiao power is proven. if mayweather is brave enough no matter what, he is sure that he is no match with pacquiao. he is coward, for me he is not the best fighter, always complaining.before i admire the way he fight but now, no way. all the boxer that fight pacquiao are more best than mayweather...

im sure he will received the same fate cotto had with pacquiao.

By chinx_lady• 9 Jan 2010 09:49

paquiao rules..his rival is coward to fight him and gives ambiguous alibis for not fighting him.mayweather is quite sure that his career will be hanging coz there will only be one man standing after all and that will be the pacman.:)

well Mr. M lot of people always predicts and say opponents of pacquiao will win, but you see all of them sleep in the floor. knock out...

whyteknight. if you are pacquiao and you know that by doing so you will feel very week, you will do it? ofcourse no. this is the only remaining strategy of mayweather. he is pretty sure that he cannot beat pacquiao without this trick...

By anonymous• 9 Jan 2010 09:38

Mr.M you are sure that Mayweather beats Mannny paquiao but Mayweather has no courage to fight...

By anonymous• 9 Jan 2010 09:32

Actually Mayweather has agreed for testing 14 days before a fight instead of immediately before the fight but Pacquiao is still sticking to his 30 days stand and is unwilling to compromise.

Mr M.

I Disagree,Floyd Mayweather Jr the one of the world's best,in fact,it was pacquiao who was hesitant when a blood test was asked to be done,I am sure Mayweather Jr would have beaten him if the fight would have been confirmed.
