Carrefour will refund 10 times difference???
In Carrefour there is advertisement if u will find any item cheaper in other store, they will refund 10 times difference. I got from LULU Hypermarket same item with the same barcode as I have bought it from Carrefour. I present both receipts for customer service to get the 10 times difference. As the stuff has not enough information and doesn't listen to the customer requirement, they guide us to refund the item and then they said the rule of the 10 times difference is not applicable because the item has been refunded. A complaint was written, next day an employee has called to explain the rules. In the mean time, their aim was to extend time to change the price of the same item. After our complain and within less than 24 hours the price was reduced and the same item now in Carrefour costs 2 riyals less than LULU. Now the rules of advertisement cannot be applicable on our case. It was restricted our, as consumers, rights and the legitimate expectations.
Carrefour making advertisement, making rules but never follow them and they don't respect their customers. I can assure that our family and our friends will never shop again in Carrefour.
they have done this same promotion last year i think i read a same thread like this here in QL before.. i just don't have time to dig it up but im sure i have read it before..

Rules are meant to be broken.. Carrefour is no exceptions. It is just a publicity and advetising stunt from them. Although you had a courage to stand against them, many would just ignore this...

Thats what i did! I dont care about getting 10 difference refund. What i am angry about is that they are making fun from their customers!
with KFC promotion and he complained and got what he wanted .. search it on QL you should find it ..

If you file a complaint at the ministry and provide sufficient evidence, they will take it up with carrefoure ..

It's useless to try... This was expected...
I expected the rules to be:
- Must have been purchased with CASH!
- The invoice has to be within 3 minutes BEFORE the Carrefour invoice.
- The item has to be for less than QR100.
- Maximum refund is QR 0.5
- Refunds are only for shampoo.
i'm not saying they are the BEST but they are in most of the malls...its ok just take it easy as i told u its not a very plesant situation but once you get over it you will go back and shop there ....gud luck
Are you sure i cannot stop? There is lots of better shops with better prices and better products than Carrefour. I never saw such "customer service" at any store in the countries that i used to live before.

i know you're mad and frustrated at them but unfortunately i'm sure you can't stop shopping at Carrefour since its the biggest supermarket
