I am a filipina nurse and i am planning to enter Qatar with a tourist visa. A friend of mine said it is will be easy to find an employer to sponsor my working visa if I am already there. But I am worried because I know I still have to take the licensure exam for nurses in Qatar and I only have almost 2 year experience here in the Phil (with no certificate) though I am licensed here. I need your opinion guys. What would be the best plan?

its too risky for you to look for a job in Qatar on visit visa having no experience/or no employment certificates. applying for a medical license here in qatar will take time because the system here for processing papers for licensing is not organized yet. while waiting for you application you might work in a company or a job you dont want or if you are lucky, you'll be satisfied.

it is better if you apply in some agencies in the Philipines but it is much better if you will have more than 3 years work experience that will make your applications easier. and i think before you can apply for a medical license here in qatar i think you need atleast 3 years experience. but i guess you can visit here first if you want and you can always go back in the philippines. atleast you tried.

the licensure takes almost a year to finish...if u think u have the guts to take the risk then go for it...besides u can also apply for another job while waiting for your evaluation...good luck!!

In my opinion better apply a license recruitment agency to apply here in qatar. Dont believe people who told you that its easy to find job here if you have visit visa and maybe at the end you will end up loser.....
