Vaccination
Hi all, i would like to ask u where is the best place to give your child regular vaccination .. i need a private sector if possible.. i tried Al-Ahli before and i didnt like it because ( No Offence to anyone ) but its not the doctor who give the injection its the nurse and i prefer if a doctor would give it since i am paying lots of money for tht.. kindly advice.. regards
Actually its not that i have too much money its just that i changed my home and the health center i belong too is toooo far.. plus i have nothing against nurses i am a medical technician myself but at least the doctors should check up the baby at least .. i mean in Al-Ahli if u want the doctor to see ur baby u have to pay for tht plus the vaccination!!! which is way too much .. i will try Doha clinic as u said.. and ppl r getting more and more aggressive on QL by the way .. if u dnt have a nice answer simply dont post one.. Thanks for those who answered in a good way though .. regards
When you are getting the same medicine free of cost with no procedure for babies in all Health centers here in Qatar, why you want to pay for the expensive clinics, doctors are not appointed to give injuction, that is the reason they appoint nurses there, if you have too much money, please give this money to poor childrens who suffer with deadly Deceases and have no money for treatment or give it for the starving childrens, then you will be blessed. (one injustion cost almost Qr. 1,000 in private hospitals). Money comes sometime too much for some and it may goe one day, god gives money and he takes back?!!
WELL I AM NOT SURE THAT IS ANY PRIVATE CLINIC OR GOVERNMENT CLINIC WHERE DOCTOR GIVE INJECTION ALL OVER DOHA NURSES DO INJECTION THING AND ITS NOT A BIG DEAL AND ITS FREE OF COST IN GOVERNMENT OFFICE SO WHY U PAY FOR THAT IF THEY GOVERNMENT PROVIDING VACCINATION FREE OF CHARGE
My baby born at DOHA CLINIC..And v prefered to do her all vaccination from Dr.Manal of doha clinic...Though the nurses or u can say assistant r always present with the dtr but its the doctor who always give shot to the babies at DOHA CLINIC..
In the Philippines it was the Doctor who's doing the vaccination as it charges a lot, but a bit cheaper than Qatar, and believe me they're good! Anyway i always had my sons vaccinated in Al Ahli (when they're due for thier shots and happen to be in Qatar) it's very expensive but they're more updated vaccine that the health center, like in health center they only give the normal shot like the bcg, and the 3 doses which is given on the 1st month, 6mos and 1 yr old. So if you want to get rotavirus, menigegocol and some other shot go to Al Alhi as long as your willing to pay more and nurses is just fine to do it, what i do i always ask for Filipinos as i'm used to them!
I can't see anything wrong about that. I am a nurse and it's our duty to give vaccination or any kind of IV medication once the doctor ordered it. I think you can only request the doctor do that if she/he is your friend. Otherwise, doctors don't usually do vaccination, unless emergency cases.
common normal practise for nurses to give all injections not just vaccinations...doctors only give injections on rare emergency situations...you should know better since you are a medical technican
u will not find a doctor who will give vaccination injection by himself, only nurses do that
