I've got over 20 years experience with various unix derivatives. I've done HPUX, Solaris, AIX and REDHAT. I really hate to admit it but Redhat is the way forward as it costs significantly less for the hardware/software and the support contracts associated with them. Please send me your CV I might be able to help. There are enough large companies here using it.

Qatar is the land of Micro$oft, pirated software, viruses and trojans. Almost every PC I've had the misfortune to have to fix has been infested with the stuff as well as having outdated anti-virus software and IE6 browsers[1].
There are a few places here which have Linux based infrastructures but they tend to be engineering or comms based organisations. I manage a network where there there are Linux Debian servers but that is because the organisation has HPUX, Solaris and other infrastructure components so Linux makes a good match.
I don't expect you to receive many helpful comments on QL on RedHat type jobs. You are better looking at Monster, Jobserve and the like.

[1] Even Microsoft want users to dump IE6 which is non-standards compliant, buggy and insecure.
Hey
birdie
I'm an engineer, i wud'nt have to depend any other certifiaction!!!! but its great to be certified!!!
its a open source. i'm agree to u!!!!!
but if u need theire support,, u have to pay the money to redhat!!!!
dont u knw the stability of redhat!!!??
gmail sever, MSN server all r running on Linux!!!
Mind it!!!!!
..... and you thought you will be flooded with job offers, the moment you completed Redhat certifications ?
very remote chance, dear
only some banks use Linux systems
hhmmmm...
what is redhat???
Agrees with alqattan. This is not the place for red hat. Red hat is for third world countries who cannot afford windows, and not exactly middle-east. I advise you to better adapt yourself for some unix jobs, even the scope for that has to be checked first.
Red Hat ha ? you are talking about Linux and no one Here of even in the middle east using that Operating System, most of people don't know about it or even about Open Sources .
You should be applying for jobs using the following sites
