Soundproof windows!
By bilalkhalid •
Hi folks, i recently shifted to a new compound near a busy road. The traffic noise is way too high and makes it impossible to have a good night's sleep. I was wondering if sum1 can suggest a solution. I've tried thick curtains but unfortunately they aren't much of a help.
Thanks!
Contact some one who are experience or a contractor for windows.
the best idea is to shift to a new place where u like
Can u contact the aluminium fabricators...who make windows..they can make solution..
Sticky foam tape is your only solution. it will lower the noise slightly. The real efficient solution, is to change the glass to a sound proof glass, but that is quite expensive. I would go with foam around the edges and openings, inside and outside. Any place where there is a gap for air, means noise will pass through. Sticky foam tape can be bought from hardware store, probably in kahrabaa street. good luck.
Get a couple of cotton pieces, fix it into your ears and have a nice sleep...
