if these are the fines think about the drivers who got the salary only 700 to 1500 QR how they going to pay this much of fine you can not find any driver here if fine is to much
this is fake .. i got the new brochure from traffic department .. i will scan it on saturday and send it to u .. this one is fake .. do not believe it ..
someone really needs to confirm the source............. this seems like overkill, and whilst I think it would be great to fine the idiots that commit crimes on the road, I really wonder if the locals are actually going to get punished for doing something wrong or whether due to their connections they'll get off with a slap on the wrist and some poor indian driver will find himself going to jail because he can't afford the fine!
I think it's ludicrous, because Qatar should clean it's own house first. Most expats (at least ones from the EU or US and similar) actually LEARN how to drive and are for the most part respectful. Others, whilst maybe not enforced to learn properly due to poor quality testing in their home countries...........are terrified here of doing something wrong and are also for the most part respectful drivers. The only ones seemingly "immune" to this are the gulf nationals, who for some reason behave as though the roads belong to them.
So if this report is actually 'real', why haven't they put a clause for child seats? Why are kids allowed to crawl all over and around the seats of the car whilst the driver or parent is driving?
It's a joke............. if they have a to pass a "law" then it should properly thought through. This one screams of incompetance.
Hehehehehe...not leaving enough space for two vehicles, the fine is the same....what is this??...I have only 25000.00 monthly salary....if being caught then?...

its good
What good are fines if no one is caught?
i'm surprised there's nothing about cutting your toenails while driving.
good for the reckless drivers...
So are saying your a person that deliberatly breaks traffic laws so you think the penalties are too much for to pay?
It is good so that no one will violate the traffic law intentionally and to avoid dangers to other motorist.
