New QL Group - For Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi

I have started a group on QL named "Urdu Group - For Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi speakers". This group is open to anyone from anywhere who speaks Urdu/Hindi/Punjabi and/or has interest in sub-continent (India and Pakistan).

Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi languages are not the same but similar, so are their speakers and users.
One might ask why there was a need for such a group. I set up this group, using languages as a vehicle to unite people form sub-continent mainly Indians and Pakistanis, build bridges, understand misunderstandings and create harmony among us. I believe It is very much possible through common languages.
People from sub-continent are attracted to each other as they share the same ethnic background. There are more similarities than differences between us. Let's play down the minor differences.
I invite all of you to be part of this group. It is not expected that you only post in Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi, please use the language you are more comfortable with, I understand for majority it is English.
------------------
Please note:
1. Urdu and Hindi are largely standardized forms of the same language and differences are merely sociolinguistic. So if you speak Hindi this group is for you.
2. Urdu is not a language of any country or any nation or any religious group. It is a language of sub-continent where India has the largest number of Urdu speakers.
3. Punjabi, Urdu, and Hindi are sister languages. Welcome Punjabis!
4. This group is not intended to focus on Urdu language, rather it is to bring together the Urdu/Hindi/Punjabi speakers residing in Qatar to exchange views, hold discussions and share knowledge. You are free to write in Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi and English as per your preferences.
This group is particularly open to speakers of other languages.
Enjoy!
Welcome narmi.

Miss Pakistan, This is a grand debate. Some believe they are similar and some don't. No one including me believes that they are the 'same'.. yet they are 'similar'.
Eco-savvy, It is a good suggestion. The group is named as Urdu group as Urdu/Hindi language is used by most of the Indians and Pakistanis.
Eco-savvy yes majority cannot.
I dont think Bengali's or Sri Lankans can communicate in Hindi/Urdu/Punjabi
Great idea. I am in.
DaRuDe, Your point is valid.. Let's compare this group with Pakistan and Sub Continent groups. This is to highlight the major difference and not to undermine the significance of above two groups.
Pakistan group is an exclusive group for Pakistanis. My group is 'open for all'.
My group vis-a-vis Sub Continent group: Both are for people from sub-continent. However my focus is largely on India and Pakistan where the common language factor is brought into play to bring people closer for creating harmony and reconciling differences among them.
In short, my group is based on languages as a 'common factor' whereas Pakistan and Sub-continent groups focus on nationality and ethnicity respectively.
whats so different in this group from Sub Continent Group and Pakistan Group ???
And thats what you have just said in your first para of this topic.
DaRuDe, I knew at first glance some people will feel this way. If you read my post carefully you will see the difference. This group is not duplicating the other group.
You are one of the most prolific and popular Qlers.. Join us. Any ideas/suggestions from you are welcome.
What the hell is this group for when there was already one
