We should respect the speed limit and traffic law this is implimented for our safety as well others. High speed drivers killed a lot here in Qatar. If some one have Landcuriser or any other 4WD they thinks they got licence to kill and driving in very very high speeds and if you are in fast track for few minutes 4 Wheel driver will try to hit you by back to back dumper driving or give you tension by holding dim light, incase we dont change the track immediately, they dont care even if you die they need to go fast (crazy driving), let more and more cameras to install every 1 kilomoters (if possible) so that every one will respect the speed and even there is accident, can avoid deaths by slow speed caused vehicle to vehicle accidents. HIGH SPEED THRILLS BUT KILLS

I'm really glad for this.

The more camera the better. At least it will give those speeding cruisers something to think about.

the TrafficDept wants to use Speed Radar as ATM Machine to extract money from drivers.

I think that in Qatar accidents are mostly of minor nature, i.e small type scraps which happens near or on RoundAbouts , traffic signals, inner roads crossings.

Though we do hear of fatalities on highway roads and sometimes inside Doha......like Salwa road etc.

high fines are not justified though 1-2 days lock is fine or Car Confisticate for a week or so.
