rejected family visit visa

hi to all. got a question regarding family visit visa.
i came to the passport office this morning to apply for a visa for my wife and kid and after almost 1 1/2 hours on cue, the teller just told me "one paper" and she was pointing at my documents. when i asked her what one paper, she just replied back saying the same thing. so i did check with some people there and they said that the documents that i have are enough for the visa. i tried to get a cue number again and they told me to go back tom morning.

anyone out there who can give me advices or who had the same situation before?

thanks

If you have that form, then why you did not give it.

a letter from the company that mention the monthly salary you are receiving.

Employment and marriage contracts should be authenticated.

logic: that's what i did. i asked the people around and they themselves have no idea what she said

jpa: is that the form where is should be typewritten? if it is, well i also have that. these are the documents that i have:

1. application form typewritten in arabic

2. passport copy of myself, wife and son

3. letter from company

4. working contract

5. ID card

6. marriage contract
