Housing costs in Doha - budget QAR15,000
Hi all,
I am moving to Doha in the new year to work based out near the airport.
I have a QAR15,000 per month accomodation allowance and wondered what sort of housing I might able to get for this amount?
We are husband and wife expecting our first child in the middle of next year, so our priorities are a garden, no more than 20 mins from work (the airport), and 3 bedrooms.

With a budget of QR15,000 you can get yourself a good quality 3-4 bed villa in a compound which offers communal facilities such as pool, gym, clubhouse etc.

15K for those req might be less. Negotiate see what happens and CONGRATS on the baby!
u can get a furnished compounded villa for that money !!!
... and make sure not to pay any agency fees. People often get conned into doing so but it is the owner who should be paying for the fees, not you. Also check carefully about maintenance - how reliable is it, talk to the neighbours if you move into a compound and check if they have any complains.

There are lots of advertised accommodations for rent there. If you will be working in the Airport area, might as well get a place in Matar Kadeem or Najma.
