By Alumnar

THANK YOU to all who made this an event to remember. My family had so much fun meeting you all and making new friends.

Congratulations to the team effort - I didn't think it would be THIS GOOD and I have to admire you all for it. We hope to soon see you all again and honestly believe that many new and strong friendships have developped out of this event.

The campfire was amazing! See for yourselves!!!

We never run short of anything thanks to the comunity spirit in our group.

FOLKS... LET'S DO THIS AGAIN VERY SOON!!!!!

Thank you to all!!!!!!!!!

Here is a new group of pics for the inland sea trip:

https://www.yousendit.com/download/MVNmMWZPcTIzeUlLSkE9PQ

The link will work only for 5 days.

Almunar I think your daughter said that because one of the guys kept going down the hill to bring her water from sea to play with sand :) only those who went down to beach will know how hard it was to get back up to the camp ;)

Some of the friends I brought with me to the trip weren't used to visit Qatar living a lot but now after the event they visit it frequently and post on it! like the guy above me!

Regarding the wood stock its not a problem for us we have a construction location near a.assadi home with piles of wood ;)

Now the problem is to find a good island were u can park the big (ship) and camp!

lol I just said what I thought of the event and you blasted me for everything... It was not even criticism, just my thoughts. I thought I would finally get to meet some QLers and was disappointed. Me organising anything, naa I am too lazy ;)

Peace!!!!

By Alumnar• 4 Dec 2009 11:56

... wood is not a problem :) just let me know and we will start bringing daily stocks home! Then everybody can just collect them from my place :)

By Alumnar• 4 Dec 2009 11:55
Alumnar

... how does December 18th sound to you? :)))

By Alumnar• 4 Dec 2009 11:54
Alumnar

... after reading your comment I really do not care who you are - why should I anyway? EVERYBODY who went has posted on this topic or the other one about the event, so how come you saw people at the event who are not members? I can by now account for everybody who went as having posted on this subject since and even before the event. Whether somebody brings their friends or not - what is it your business if you are not the organizer of the event? The more the merrier!!! Maybe you should be targeting those people who put their names down and not only didn't turn up but didn't bother to inform us that they weren't gonna come?

Anyway, enough time wasted replying to this post, totally unnecessary attack. Maybe you should organize an event for members only - do what we did and see how much work there is involved (mainly concern about making sure everybody is happy and safe). Easier to complain then to do something proactive!

PerfectStranger - my praises go to you mate. YOU are for me the 'hero' of the event. Your concern about everybody reflects your amazing personality and Tony and I can't wait to see you again soon :)))

By navdak• 4 Dec 2009 04:32
navdak

I think the next event should be for QL members only, I asked 8 guys that day for their QL id and 7 of them said we are not on QL and the 8th one said I don't care about QL, I just came here coz my brother told me to..

This has to stop, If you want a QL gathering, there should be QL members only.. By the way Alumnar, do you know who am I?

Would u like some more compliments....

Murano did better than Mitsubishi Outlander although the driver was worried..

One of the nissan patrol has broken in the top of a dune :(

even a Jeep wrangler got stuck! So nissan pathfinder and xterra are the best! ^_^
