Rents for Commercial / Residential properties

We have been trying to find a standalone villa for a budget of Qar 8000/- or under from 4 months but are unable to. Although rents have already fallen down in writing but I cannot see this is real. Pls correct me if I am at mistake. There was someone who was offering us a villa double storey for 22k which could be used both as commercial & residential purpose but because of some purpose he changed his mind.

My friend's rent was reduced from 10k to 8k.

He also looked at an apartment in my block. I pay 12k and an identical apartment is now going for 10k.

Yes you are right.. I just moved in new unfurnished flat with a rent of 6000 Riyals per month.. !! I dont know, why ppl are saying that rents are going down..!
