No there isn't one, but there should be. Who's with me? I can't stand to listen to anymore elevator music, cd's played from start to finish, Bernie Lyons, The chick who can't pronounce anything, the talking over the songs.

Time to put it out of it's misery. Who's with me?

We could form the QL Ninja Squad to quietly sneak up and disable Bernie's hearing aid..

Or we could use decoy Ninja gerbils to go in and gnaw through the wiring at the station..

in that case, count me in!!...with the onset of winter, the sad reality of no more radio2 106.0 until next summer is slowly beginning to sink in...(:

I listened QBS only in Ramadan before evening prayers.....very informative!

Rest of the year whenever I put it on it seems to be a French broadcasting channel. Sometimes kids listened to Top 20, otherwise we play only CD player.

I always picture Bernie being picked up in his luxury limousine and being dropped off at QBS in the morning and then using his Zimmer Frame to get to the office..

The best one is the lady who pretends to interview pop celebrities...

svelte_saggi after listening to 89.1FM (mentioned by MrPaul on QL)I have never done 97.5FM

The people at 89.1 (UAE) are so much full of fun.....I prefer to listen to them talking and joking more that the songs...lol

Its really sad the transmission is not clear on some days :(

The Chick at QBS is really crazy trying to speaking in "sing song" manner playing with the fader ...up and down....up and down...in such a predictable way.....usually everybody at QBS does it or maybe its the sound technician....(usually its the Radio Jocky who handles the faders & mixers)...so dumb amatures!

QBS jingle.. says some thing like

Every Morning is so much Fun

When you wake up with Doha's Number one.

Why cant they hire some good RJ's and play something good... and the news reader sounds like she is giving a condolence message.... wonder why Wanda sounds so sad always...

QBS "The Only English Radio Staion in Qatar"

yeah right, with a French program on it :/

the news last night at 8pm on QBS.

she was lost she couldn't name any name properly. and was like having hiccups then there was 1minute silence and the door closed thats what we heard on the radio and guess what they replaced the newscaster and she was reading the news as if she was on race track running.

LOL olive, to lessen your pain make it a point everyday not to listen to QBS, love your BP hehehe, listen to your favorite CDs instead.

I can't listen to it anymore. It's a disgrace to Qatar. Today Bernie Lyons played elevator music while he waited for the 3 people in Doha stuck listening to his stupid show to call in. 20 minutes of it!
