This morning one guy hit my car at the back in a traffic signal (At yellow sign ) . I called the police and they came and took the report of the damage . The police told me to come to the police station tomorrow to hand me over the report . The guy who hit me accepted the responsibility . He has a third party insurance . Now how should I get the claim from his insurance company for the damaged repaired ? Can you please help me on this the next procedure as I am new in Qatar ?

Police will give you a copy of the report with the Insurance company's name the other car is insured with. You only have to take this paper to the other party's insurance company for repair claim. If your car is not older than 2 years insist on repair at dealer.

when u get the police report both(urs and his) insurance companies name will be written on it.Then go to ur insurance company and hand over the police paper to them.they will follow up with the other guy's insurance company and will tell u later on where to give ur car for fixing.

Sorry for the Accident.

You Should take the Police report and go the insurance company of the other car owner.

Insist that they fix it at the Dealer (if it is new).

they might ask you for an estimation cost from the dealer or the garage, get it back to them, once they approved, you can send your car to the dealer.

Best of Luck!!
