Qatar Labour law & Resignation???
Can somebody advise me about Qatar Labor Law regarding the return ticket? I just resigned from my company giving them 40 days notice. The problem is my company doesn’t ready to give me return ticket for my Country. They r saying that return ticket should be arrange from my side. What should I do? It’s the real matter to arrange return ticket from my side? Thank you!!
As you havr resigned, the company has the right to refuse paying you the return ticket Vs. if they have terminated you; then the company is obliged to pay the same to you and to all your family how are under your sponsorship if they have also come from your home country.
Again, labour dept. might help if you ask for assistance.
my advise is to seek the company's assistance in a polite way personally.
1. Speak to your HR Manager.
2. Go to Labor Office and speak to someone there. Take along your employment Contract as Reference.

If you were recruited overseas, the company should pay for your return ticket along with your end of service benfits as per Qatar Labor Law.
If they dont agree, file complain to Labor Office.
If you finished your 2 yrs contract, your company should provide return ticket for you, otherwise go to Labor department for assistance.
