My family in the Philippines is coming here in Qatar, their Visa Type is Residency Visit Visa, is it necessary to buy them two way ticket or is it possible for a one way ticket only? Tickets are costly but I dont want them to experience Immigration problem at the airport. Please advice. Thank you.

I have the same situation. Resident visit with 5years duration. My wife and kid just got here 3days ago. What I did was to get 2-way ticket to Hong Kong to show NAIA immigration that they will be visiting HK not DOHA to avoid hassles on visa stamp and medical part. Then booked them 1-way ticket from HK to Doha. Costs are almost the same or even cheaper a little bit but I have save time waiting for medical results and visa stamping which almost 2-weeks. Plus they will have a chance to roam HK if they want to but if your not in a hurry you can do the visa stamping and get 1-way ticket direct flyt.
