Now you can fly to Doha-Dubai-Doha for as low as QR 240. (doha-Dubai = QR 103, Dubai-Doha = QR 137). Round trip.

flydubai is new low cost airline from Dubai offering this low fare, and remember it isnt an offer but regular fare. :-). check for more details at wwww.flydubai.com.

QBC advertised the fare as QR 165 for one way, but online i found it more cheaper just 103!!!. also flydubai fares are always inclusive of all taxes.

There seems to be no mention of flydubai arranging visa for the GCC residents. though they could help UAE residents to bring their immediate family memembers....

also note firose is referring to onarrival visa and not visa arranged by flydubai.

As i went through this myself once i would caution you regarding. i couldnt board my flight as my Qatar RP had only 5 months validity. then had to miss the flight and renew it before flying again. so just a caution. if emirates is sure, then they better be..... again ask if they are referring to on arrival visa or emirates airline visit visa!!! it does make a difference.

Unfortunately it isnt... even a day, they dont differentiate.. had similar trouble once to bahrain... i strongly suggest to renew your Qatar RP before you fly. you can very well renew your Qatar RP for another one year from the date of expiry. thats what i did...

on next 28th nov 09 I am going there with family, but my Qatar visa will expire on 20th march 10,

so I heard I need minimum 6 months validity visa to get on arrival visa there, but I have only 5months + 22 days validity....... only.....

just I want know is it okey or I need to renew my visa ?

You don't need visa for dubai from Qatar if your profession is one of the ones mentioned. I am not sure about all the professions, but I am sure about the following:

Engineers

Managers

Doctors

They don't need a visa to go to Dubai. This info might be old, please correct me if I am wrong.

I'm flying back from Dubai to Doha on Sunday morning.....will let you guys know what its like after that! 472dh return all up....50% cheaper than Air Arabia which is normally 980dh

By jasimthani• 15 Oct 2009 10:47

they cannot arrange visa like emirates ?

at times dont be surprised to see airarabia fare equal to QA. still air arabia fares are way cheaper. Gadarene for your info, airarabia fare to India during the month of nov is just 780 QR.. half of QA fare... if this helps.

Air Arabia's fares are still WAAAAY lower than QR or Emirates...@ Formatted Soul,FlyDubai is fully owned by Emirates with ALL brand new aircraft in service...

I hope its a proper flight and not something with two wings...lol

Visa would be the only bottle neck here.. if not most of us would be having our weekend in Dubai..:-)

By shyams• 15 Oct 2009 09:49
shyams

but their fares are tempting for sure.. when air arabia launched i was one of the few first passenger to take on the inaugural flight.... and fare was way cheaper. but not on the long run....

let hope flydubai extends their network yet keep the fare low.... :-)

Question how about the visa? It is needed in going to Dubai right?

Remember a time AirArabia offered more or less the same rates...give it time FlyDubai will also turn out to be SlyDubai.
