Old Mannai Underpass radar....

Can anyone tell me if the maximum speed limit there is 60kmph or 80kmph like it is under all other underpasses? There is an old tattered speed sign somewhere before reaching the underpass which reads 60kmph....is it still valid?I would really like to know.... :-/

For God's Sake atif242....its 80kmph....there are almost three signboards (both sides)....coming towards Jaidah...just after Rumaillah R/A...then just before the Underpass and then just before Jaidah F/O.....

going from Jaidah F/O....just after the FlyOver...then just before the UnderPass and then after the UnderPass I Guess!!!!

today i went under it and never saw any speed limit board stating 60KM/H, guys its 50km/h and that limit starts the moment you pass through ALMANNAI underpass because you are approaching GIAN STORE R/A and also a shoulder road is also being connected with the main road

It was 60kmph till last week...but now changed to 80kmph because of the sudden brakes that motorists were usually applying after watching radar...Its safe to go through below 80kmph.

I was under the impression it was 80, but the other day when I drove down there, cars were slowing to 60, then I saw the sign say 50, but I couldn't see if the camera flashed or not:-( I was driving about 60.

Until a couple of weeks ago it was 60kph now it has been changed to 80kph. There are speed limit signs there just after the mini roundabout by Rumailah Hospital/old British Embassy.

We were at 80 and did not get a ticket so I think its 80 obviously they need to put better signs. Its strange

some side roads are 100 and 120 yet a highway is 80.

so I drive at 60 when I go through it. Someone else can experiment with going 80 and pay the 500 QR fine. I'd rather it was them, not me!

Well as i said that its my daily route to AL MIRQAB Street so i was never flashed below 80km/h.

but almost everybody slows down to almost a dead speed when they reach there....making hell a lot of traffic jams in that area....i still have my doubts, though :S
