Qatar takes 2022 FIFA World Cup bid to London

Qatar will give its first international presentation of its bid to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup later this week.

Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani, chairman of the Qatar 2022 Bid Committee, and Hassan al-Thawadi, Bid chief executive officer, will speak at the Leaders in Football conference in London which is being held on October 7-8.

On October 8, Sheikh Mohamed will give a presentation about Qatar’s bid for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, and what it would mean for football development in Qatar and in the wider Middle East.

The period for the Bid is perfect, Qatar will be fully ready to host such an event which will bring most probably even more visiors then the Olympics since this region is football addicted.

Hopefully winning this bid may fine tune a lot of objectives.
