Trubosim to unlock iphone 3G with OS 3.1

Hi to All,
My iphone got locked accidentally during the upgrade from 3g 3.0.1 to 3.1 and now no software for jailbreak or unlock is working. So now i want to try hardware change.
Can someone suggest if i can use turbosim to unlock and use iphone for calls and SMS. if yes please do let me know where i can buy the turbosim and how much is it costing.

There is a service centre in the starlinks showroom at al nasr street where they can unlock your iphone if you have bought your iphn frm here.If not then there is a person called sajid who can tell you the address where u can get it unlocked for 100 riyals..
