What's up with Garveys?

Does anyone have any up to date information on Garveys? I am thinking of renting a room there for a month until my west Bay apartment is ready. I heard the place closed down last January but is now operating on some scale (sans alcohol I guess). Anyone been there recently and have any news?

I live there,,, Gym, Pool and housing is all running still.
