Can you tell how expensive (or cheap) taxis are in Doha?

I'd like to know how expensive (or cheap)taxis are in Doha. We will be visiting a number of sites, including some of the HMC buildings; a number of schools etc.

You can rent a basic 1.3 car for I think 85 qr per day.
Karwas are the cheapest taxis but can't have for too long and have to book day before, Generally about haif the price of a limo. Limos charge bewtween 35 to 40 Qr per average journey. For eg City centre to Villaggio etc.

the cost is not the only problem---more importantly it's the availability (or non availibility) You need to book them 24 hours in advance most of the time.
THERE ARE REGENCY FLEET GIVING YOU CAR WITH DRIVER FOR 50QR PER HOUR(MERCEDES,BMW)IT'S ONLY FOR LIMITID PERIOD
taxi fare is very high in doha compare to the other golf contry
I believe, better RENT A CAR for whole day (Around QR 120/- per day), that would be more cheaper .... :)
