Tourist to Business visa or Tourist to Work Residence?

I am on tourist visa and valid to stay until 28 Sept. There's no immigration next week but somebody told me they will resume work on 27th? Which visa transfer would be preferred? Tourist to business ot tourist to residence permit direct. I will be incurring overstay on my tourist by 29th? Would it be possible to facilitate transfer even with overstay? Anybody please help?

I recently asked the same question. Go for the Residence Permit then you can buy alcohol, get a postpaid cell phone plane, cable, and pretty much all your creature comforts that aren't allowed for visitors or business permit holders.
