Getting house maid from India

I am a lady doctor from India in Qatar since 2 months and have a working RP. My husband works in India. I have 2 small kids who recently came to Qatar on 1 month visit visas. I am planning to get my house maid from India to take care of my kids and the house when I go for duty. But it seems to be VERY difficult as the Indian Embassy doesn't permit any maids from India to work here. Can anyone suggest a solution, please?

I have three suggestions for you:

1) Indian housemaid visas are not allowed as far as I know.

2) Bring your maid on a visit visa for permitted duration.

3) Approach an agency if you are interested to bring another country maid (Better Srilankan / Nepali).

It is not possible to hire an Indian maid due to Government restrictions.

There are two obstacles to your request - they will not issue maid's visas for Indians and you cannot sponsor a maid of your own nationality.

as u mentioned u have a RP and u wanted this maid for one month, the easiest thing will be, go to Immigration Airport with the photo and copies of this lady's passport and apply for a one month visit visa
