We are moving to Qatar in the new year, and we are trying to get a balanced view of life in Qatar. We recognise that everywhere has good and bad points.
Your experience and insight would be welcomed
check out the guide to qatar... you can have an idea by then.... see you here....
You told:
"We recognise that everywhere has good and bad points"
You are correct; act accordingly.
good luck, welcome to Qatar living.
It seems that your moving here cannot be stop. Just come here and see for yourself. Good luck!
About the only things you can't find here are cheap paperback books and a lot of over-the-counter medications. Bring sunscreen!
....will take some "Anger Management Classes" before landing here.
....will get a bag full of "Anti Depressant Pills" with me in my luggage.
....will try to learn the "Art of Living as a Slave" before coming.
to not move in Qatar during the summer period.
As you said it yourself: Qatar has its good and bad sides. It's completely up to you on which side you are going to land.
I would not get on the plane. The future in Qatar is uncertain, racism is rife and what fun there was has gone and so have I - goodbye fat controller

Yes,
I wouldn't move at all. Unfortunate but true. I will strongly strongly consider Dubai as the alternative.
