i need advice please on my situation.
i have two kids from a previous marriage.
i could be mistaken but under the law here would my partner be able to get help towards school fees for them, they are still small now but the time will come round fast.
if i am thinking correctly and he would not be able too cos they are not biologically his then its looks like the prices are so high we could not afford to put even one of them into school.
google is not turning up much on qatari law so im asking anyone here for advice

Offering school fees for step-children would be up to the hiring company. You may also wish to check out whether or not your kids can come with you to Qatar. It may involve permission from your ex, etc. International relocation can be a bit tricky since Qatar doesn't want to be involved in any way with allegations of abuse of parental rights.

of course we are marrried and i am a muslim so i wouldnt be just living with someone. but these kids are not his so i m asking when he receives a job offer saying u get so many thousands in riyal and so much housing allowance also for some companies offering to pay some school fees if you have kids. will we still be able to have the offering of the company paying some of the fees if he didnt actually father them is what i meant i hope i am clearer now and sorry for any confusion i caused.

thanks ukengqatar for your response

No problem with this. As long as you two are married and you the man is the sponsor of the Kids in this Marriage then it should be OK..

file in the court for financial support from your ex- husband. that is the best way to settle this matter.

sultu is right;there is no recognised relationship between you and ur partner unless you are married.you might have serious problems if you are not and you are living together with a man.you should know you are living in aconservative muslim country.anyway, help for non qatari i never heard of any.may be you should consult your embassy or any association that help the needy people.i wish i helped u somehow.i didn`t mean to scare you but i have been asked to bring a copy of my marriage certificate to hamad hospital(women hospital).

good luck

first of all there is nothing so called "partner" excepted here only husband/ wife relation..

if he has married you even, then childrens from your previous marriage is not his responsibility if he does it from his goodwill then u may get otherwise

there is no such law here that will enforce him to look after your childrens from your ex.
