hi all..i'm traveling on 18th to my hometown and planning to take a LCD (32") with me. does anyone know whether there would be a problem in the airport at the screening counter because one of my friends told me the carton size won't go through the screening machine. the size of the carton is 65cm x 100 cm. any idea? Can anyone throw some light on this? Thanks

Dont worry. The baggage counter staff will take to another safe gate and deliver to the aircraft. The xray machine using for screening is more than enough to screen a 40" LCD TV.

The baggage would not be taken in the normal check in counters.. After you check in the bag.. they will ask you to taken the luggage to different counter.. where you can drop the luggage there....

They would probably take it to the "Oversize Baggage" counter...
