£200,000 and 51 operations turn a mother of three into Queen Nefertiti

Her transformation began more than 20 years ago after she decided that in a past life she had lived as Queen Nefertiti.

During that time Nileen Namita has spent £200,000 on her face in order to turn herself into a living sculpture of the ancient Egyptian.

Miss Namita, a 49-year-old artist from Brighton, says her quest for perfection isn't over yet and plans further surgery, describing her face as a 'work in progress'.

She began her transformation in 1987 after deciding that in a past life she had lived as Nefertiti.
She said: 'Throughout my childhood and teen years I had constant vivid dreams of this ancient queen.

'They were visions of incredible intensity - I could see where she lived, her servants, her rooms, even the food she ate - and although at first I found the dreams frightening, I began to research what they meant.
'Aged 23 I underwent psychoanalysis with a counsellor. Slowly I began to realise that I was having these dreams because I am a reincarnation of Nefertiti.

but clearly a retouched photo. it's obviously not an accurate photo because of the lips, the eyes and the colors. It looks to me as if it is a replica modeled from that bust and has been completed and painted in a garish way.

edifis, the original sculpture of Nefiriti is almost one-eyed; the crystal inlay of her left eye is missing. You'd see it clearly when my avatar is enlarged.

Brit, Akhenaton (pronounced in Arabic as ekhnatone) married more than one wife.

Friends, thanks for the nice words I don't deserve.

Yeah, FS. HH is really as gorgeous as the sculpture.

... but NN is a crazy fruitcake! That photo of her shows that it's gonna take a lot of plastic surgery to start even remotely looking like Queen Nefertiti! ;-0

only pretty, or as is the case with Ancient Egyptians, patent beauty liars get remembered by history. Akhenaten blew the roof off the "Herculean Ancient Egyptian" farce among other things. What a hideous bloke, but all the more distinct!

The second one is not the original Nefertiti bust in Altes museum, Berlin.

The original bust looks like Happy Happy's avatar.

What I want to see is somebody who believes himself to be a reincarnation of him! I am sure many men here share his beer-belly, but his facial features would require quite an artist among facial surgeons...

As for Nefertiti two over there, scary robot woman is scary. I wonder what she will look like when wrinkles start tugging at her disfigured botox stuffed face. Don't want to see that!

He ruled for 17 years and by all accounts was in his 40s when he died (probably about 46).
