I am from USA and am planning to move to Doha for a salary of 30000 qar which includes HRA. Will I make a decent living

Thanks all. I have not decided on this yet. i am married and have a son 14 yrs old. If i come i will come as single and then move the family after a year or so. The salary includes HRA for a single person and it is lot more for family.

Are you single or married with kids? Does that include everything, or do you get other benefits on top of that.

for example: 4 bedroom villa= 20000 per month

American School tuition for 1 child approx. 45000/year

Let us know what your actual benefits are and what your status is before we can give you an actual answer.

My initial thinking is that it is a low salary.
