Qatari Police should "penalize" these ROAD MANIACS!!
I still dont get it!Do you have to drive so recklessly and insanely fast to get to where you want?? Doha is very small!! you can reach the end of Doha in half an hour!! Other people just dont care! Fine, you're a local, you have money, you have 5 cars, you have all the advantages, you can fool the police with your "title/name" but as a "human being" and not "animal", you should be a little bit considerate!Everybody knows how cruel and hassle road accidents here, yet they just want to "show off" in the road! You are not living in this place alone in case you haven't notice!
You may have the riches in the world but if you dont have "decency", "education", "common sense", "sensitivity", "understanding" and many other traits "normal human beings" have, you are "nothing"! you will not reach anywhere in your life and will either die young without any achievements to be proud of or end up old, ugly & lonely with no true friends to stick with you!
I know LIFE perse is not fair, but at least and i hope, these minor issues will be taken seriously by Qatar, who's aiming to outshine other GCC countries, be more modernized and improve the economic.First i think you have to improve & instill MORAL EDUCATION to everyone living here so you will succeed in your goals as a 'country'.

I drive a sports car, I admit that I do this vroooom...vrooom driving sometimes BUT in consideration of others, I feel bad when I pass all this law abiding citizen and I feel guilty about it and ask my self "what did I accomplish? nothing!. It's not good to entrust your life with a piece of metal and believe all the specs of your car. It's how you handle your ego in driving. I enjoy my car and I love driving my car. Believe it or not, there are times a small car (an ALTO) blast all his HEADLIGHTS on me and away he goes. As I have said, it's the person who drives the car. I don't care who drives the car and I will not point finger to anyone. To those who owns fast or slow car - THINK ABOUT YOUR FAMILY WHILE DRIVING!!!

not all LCs are driven by qataris...
Stop complaining and keep yourself on side lane or middle lane and you will escape most of it. Just don't get upset because you never know who is driving in what mood.
Also please don't point your one finger towards Qataris because other four will be pointing towards yourself. It’s not only Qataris (I don't mean all Qataris) who drive fast but also a lot of expat community living in Qatar do get involved in this madness. Thanks to Allaha, in my last 6 years of stay in Qatar I have never come across any Qatari who tried to influence my driving or ever tried to scare me (it’s my personal experience).
All in all, give sufficient way for these MANIACS and I am sure you will never have any trouble.

baby karina - its the law of the garbage truck...just smile at them and ensure they see see you smiling. that would be the best antidote. i have always done that with spectacular results.
the worst part / rather the icing on the cake is not just the rude driving.
its the smug arrogance and the angry glare that the rude driver throws at any sensible driver who dares intercept him/ her.
for long i thought it was just the men who were born defective with some important genes missing in them which leads to total deprivation of civility but im impressed by the new breed of equally rude and garish women drivers who relish flouting road rules and driving like maniacs.
but at the end of it i always smile to myself and say "garbage truck". and i ensure my smile is visible to this angry despicible desperate and sad driver.

I hope so this RAMADAN all of them will change especially that ROAD MANIAC on the road. Even me i experienced a lot of bad things on the road and take note "IM STILL A STUDENT THEN, WHILE I"AM DOING MY LESSON AND DRIVING WITH THE CAR WITH SIGN DRIVING LESSON OR STUDENT"
But hope they will open there eyes and soul for a Good change not only for them but to all.
