HELLO,

I WORK IN A COMPANY IN DOHA IN SUPERVISORY LEVEL. DUE TO SOME INTERNAL REASON, THE COMPANY IS DOWNSIZING THE MANPOWER. SO, I AM BEING SELECTED AMONG ONE OF THEM TO GO OUT. I HAVE REQUESTED MY SPONSOR TO ALLOW ME TO CHANGE THE SPONSORSHIP. HE MAY GIVE IT. I HAVE COMPLETED 13 MONTHS IN THE CURRENT EMPLOYEMENT, BUT SOME OF MY FRIENDS SAYS AS PER THE NEW RULE, IT IS POSSIBLE TO TRANSFER THE SPONSORSHIP ONLY AFTER COMPLETING 2 YEARS WITH THE CURRENT EMPLOYER. IS IT CORRECT, IS THERE ANY WAY TO BYEPASS IT? can anybody advice me on it pplese.

If you get the NOC then you can change your sponsor no problem with that/

I don't think its a problem, what I know once you completed one year then its fine to transfer your sponsorship to another company, first make sure that your company is providing NOC.

Otherwise you may log to MOI website for further information.

If you can get new job, new employer should have visa of your country and catagory.Get noc from old spo and go home. your new spo can get new visa with your noc and come back. otherwise tow years condition is must.

good luck

yes it is correct, you should at least completed 2 years from your previous sponsor. the best thing you can ask your previous sponsor is to allow you to be "borrowed" until such time you have completed your 2 years and then you can ask for transfer of sponsorship. good luck!

If your sponsor is 'letting you go' I see no reason that he should not give you a release/NOC
