Buying from Ebay, NewEgg or TigerDirect, is it safe and shipment length and costs?

Hey Qlers.
I was wondering if i buy stuff from either Ebay, Amazon, NewEgg or TigerDirect, do i 100% get the item or do some people scam me?

And how much time does it take to ship it to Doha, and how much are the shipping charges?

Say i buy something used from Ebay, how can i ask it to ship it here as it doesn't give an option for Qatar.

I buy from all three places plus mwave.com, zipzoomfly.com and amazon.com. I use bongo us mail forwarding as they consolidate shipments. With aramex, each parcel is shipped separately and there is a minimum charge. So if you buy a memory card that weighs next to nothing you pay $30 or so. I believe aramex then charges about $8 US per pound for heavier parcels. Bongo consolidates - gathers all your parcels and weighs them as if they were one. They ship all your parcels as one shipment. You will save hundreds of dollars over a year of shipments. I have gotten shipments that I have paid only $6 a pound for and saved on consolidation. Check them out they are fantastic.

Aramex should wake up and provide consolidation services. DHL is also laughable as they do not consolidate. Fedex is never going to do that as they make too much on commercial shipments.

Well, we are at least shopping once a week or twice a week on ebay and ship it to aramex.

The good thing with aramex - once it is in your PO box in New York or UK you can figure out when it will be in Doha.

I am a permanant ebay shopper. I would advise you to always check the feedback of the seller. Don't buy if the seller's positive feedback is lower than 99%.

hey, i know that www.qbay.com (the ebay site for qatar) will be available but I don't know when. Someone was telling me that it will be very safe because you need to enter your qatar mobile number into the site and then varify your identity with an sms code. Clever stuff ?? it will keep the scammers away im sure
