Any comment on studio apartments - Ezdan Hotel in Doha. Pics look good and location ok but upon net examination lots of very negative comments although nothing much in 09. I will be in Doha for 1 year. The owners website is not working!

fine for a week or so. My six months with their Studio is quite a pain when i started considering making my favorite carbonara, nothing in there but microwave. So you can only take home from Biela and reheat! LOL.... an i moved to s Standard One-Bedroom suite, same old problem, no cooking amenities. Best thing Ezdan offer is a nice view when you are in Tower 1 or 2 after 14th floor. Their exec one-bedroom has a kitchen alright but i can understand the layouting of this unit, huge bedroom yet tiny living room and small kitchen with a nook...? PLUS.. expensive rate!

For a year, find somewhere.

coz i know some friends who lives there.

I did read negative remarks about the place here on QL, but if there are folks still living there and more are moving in, I guess it's alright.

The Ezdan is ok for a couple of months if you don't want to make a long term committment, but if you are going to be in Doha for a year, you can do much better. You didn't mention a budget or what area of town you preferred. The rents at Zig Zag have plummetted and I heard someone got a 2 bdr for 8,000. That's lessthan a studio at Ezdan.
