Off-Road Insurance
Hi,
can anyone help with the following:
3 of us are moving from the UK to Qatar with a dune buggy that we have the sole rights for the Middle East to sell the types. We are coming out to get an investor for the project and need to get insurance to drive it to show people and let others drive it to test it out.
We've been asked to show it to someone in Abu Dhabi first and then we will bring it to qatar and take it around other GCC countries. We will also be buying a support vehicle to transport the buggy on a trailer, probably a Hummer H2.
The buggy is also UK road legal and so we will need insurance for the buggy as a demostration vehicle and for the H2, both for on and off road, for 3 British citizens.
We spoke to AXA in Abu Dhabi & they told us they don't do demonstration vehicle insurance. Does anyone know what company will, or what companies offer off-road insurance.
We understand that we need residency, which we are sorting & a GCC driving licence but it's the insurance that we're struggling with. Also, cause we're looking for an investor we don't want to set up a company before we have someone on board!
