car rental 4WD

Hello,

how much would I have to dish out for a rental 4wd that is strong enough and stands high enough on its wheels to explore most of qatar? With this traffic I think I'd feel better in a sturdy car as well. Rental period: 7-8 months. I'm NOT interested in dune bashing, btw but would love to be able to leave roads. Would this be cheaper than getting a 4wd for say every second weekend next to a normal rental car?

Hi Johnpur,

you mean I don't need one? The places I'm interested in are appearantly not reachable with a normal car, unless I want to park along the road and go on an extended hike.

Hi Jackmohan,

hmm.. that's a lot indeed. I'll ask around the office tomorrow and then find out what the options are. Maybe I can even by a car from someone leaving. We'll see...

Hi sunflowergirl, I think you don't need only a 4x4 that is strong enough and stands high enough on its wheels to explore most of qatar

The main thing you should have is patience, understanding and good flexibility to avoid idiots on the road

remember, you will be driving in the vicinity of Jurassic park

From QR 3200 to Qr 3500 per month for a brand new V6 4wheel drive...for a year....shorter rent period have higher rate than that mentioned above.
