we have a same question....but in my case, my company is suffering in global crisis (he said) and we have to no choice but to choose in 3 option, 1). terminate 2). cut salary in half. 3). leave the company. .... its tricky but writing a letter in hand writen (smell fishy), now i work there about 8 months and according to law you have to finish 1-2 yrs or else you visa will be cancelled, so what i have to do? any?
All you need is the NOC letter then you can go to the second company without beeing banned.
Good Luck

Ok, this one I do not understand did you join for 20000 or not?? How come you say is for less....don't get it. Or did you expected more?? Is it that you know people in other companies with same or similar experience getting more payment??

There is a rule that states you must complete 1-2 yrs contract with current employer before changing from sponsor (don't remember, but do a search and the answer is i QL or sure, look for changing sponsor).
When changing from sponsor then you must have the NOC from current employer and of course another sompany willing to take you with them
If you don't get a NOC and quit then you will be banned from Qatar for 2 yrs.
Now if you are on Husband sponsorship then the only thing you need to get is the NOC from current employer. But remember NOC is not mandatory to be issued there is nothing in the law enforcing the companies to give the NOC.

Silly question. Initially you mentioned that you are getting paid very less then on top of getting 20K which is a good salary you are asking people a question how much you should get ? Then on what basis you are concluding that currently you are getting less package ? then you should evaluate and ask yourself how much you should get paid how can someone tell you this without knowing your bg?
