Queen of Morals

Saudi Arabia has it. With face and body covered by abaya from head to toe, a queen was made. They call the unique pageant... "Queen of Beautiful Morals" with emphasis on inner beauty not outer beauty.

Find it in News today.

The criteria is quite demanding - a three month test of being a parent-abiding child + cummnity service, and loads of personal, cultural , social and PSYCHOLOGICAL tests.

Anyone....?

Only a counter reaction sweet heart. Just like doing chemistry. For every action, theres a counter reaction. Logic isn't it.

Bly me, one day a buffalo will be able to pass the test, then it would be beautiful in your eyes. Thats silly. The only reason why moral is being used is to distract the real objectives. And who would not like looking at a real beauty of a women.

"I could use a help to widen my understanding"

Could you elaborate on that?

.... and you got a point! I share with you the sentiment that morals could be gauge holistically - by showing what could be a determining factor for an overall morally upright individual. the physicality of a person.

Indeed.. i sounds absurd, a morally beautiful individual without a face?

I could use a help to widen my understanding.

Actually this could be a 'holier than thou' contest.

You can use the word beautiful to describe morals/ethics but people that have different views of what morals/ethics should be would quickly disagree.

To me beauty is not only physical, it also combines intelligence and character. However a fully covered lady that is a proud winner of a morality-price that can not show her face is a completely useless concept, people can not admire a piece of fabric without a face... people can admire people, people have been given a face by God so her 'choice' (*cough) of dress and her election are no more than a state-controlled reminder to all young females, and for the rest... very little value.

I wonder, if she has not worn a full cover... would she have won? Answer: No.

Conclusion - It has nothing to do with morals.

If they would hold IQ tests, Spelling-contests or such, I would understand.

But this was purely propaganda that is supposed to remind ladies what their status is and how their lives should be, as this also covered 3 weeks of observation on how religious and committed to household/family she was.

naturally she was rewarded with A whooping QR 5000 and some jewelry + a ticket to Malaysia where she can finally walk around uncovered and enjoy a beer or two.

Yes I was laughing about this article today.

These are typical religious propaganda acts that have created to continuously indoctrinate the minds of youngsters.

Take MBC2 - a very nice example:

Do you really think it is a coincidence that the Thursday is advertised as "GIRLS NIGHT IN"... it is a way of saying, ladies you stay home you are not supposed to go out.

but cant we BEAUTIFUL be use also as an adjective to describe MORAL too?

If Moral is what they means then they got it. They should discard the word beautiful since it does not compensate the objective. I suppose only those graduates from Taiwan University will pass the test.
